Arsenal have confirmed Gabriel Jesus has undergone surgery on his right knee.
The 25-year-old suffered the injury during Brazil’s final group game against Cameroon at the 2022 World Cup.

“Gabriel Jesus has successfully undergone surgery to his right knee after suffering an injury during Brazil vs Cameroon World Cup group stage match on Friday.
“Gabby will now begin his rehabilitation programme.
“Everyone at the club is supporting Gabby and will be working hard to get him back on the pitch as soon as possible,” an official club statement read.
Jesus only moved to the Emirates this summer from Manchester City.
The striker has been instrumental to Mikel Arteta’s side going five points clear of City before the World Cup.
